Note that there are two types of WPS button locations on the ATT router.

They include:

  1. WPS button on the router: You can find this on the router itself. It has a button where you can find it on the router. The symbol is a padlock that has signal waves around it.
  2. Virtual WPS button: As the name implies, it is virtual. It is located on the computer. You need to access the router with an ethernet cord to permit the user interface of the router.

Here are the steps;

— Go to Start button/ Windows Logo

— Go to all Programs

— Click on Accessories

— Select Command prompt and type in ipconfig and enter.

Take note of the default gateway address

— Close all windows and Launch a browser (Any Browser)

— In the address bar, type your usual gateway address.

— Use your router’s default login (look for it on the back panel or bottom of the router.)

— Look for the Add WPS client option on the user interface.

— Click Next then select Push Button.

— Select your Wi-Fi name and WPS from your printer.

— To enable the padlock icon on your router’s interface, click on it.
