Do you know how to add money to Venmo?
Well, today’s post is targeted at people who are looking for a guide to help them add money to Venmo.
In a recent Venmo-related post I shared, I published a list of stores that accept Venmo.
What if you do not have money in your Venmo even after making a choice of the store from the list I shared earlier?
That is why I’m sharing with you this guide so you can learn how to add money to Venmo.
You will have the option to add money to your Venmo balance directly from your bank account that has been verified.
Though this option is strictly for users approved for a Venmo Mastercard.
If you are yet to add your bank account, make sure you add and verify it.
Then, on the app, tap “Manage balance” at the top of your personal transactions feed (the “$” icon to the right of your friends feed) to add money to your Venmo balance.
Then, to begin the transfer from your bank to your Venmo balance, follow these steps:
How to add money to Venmo
- Type the amount you wish to transfer and click on “Done”
- Check the bank you will like to transfer the money from to confirm it. Click on “Next” when you’ve confirmed
- Take another look at the transfer details to be sure everything looks good and to know how long it will take for the money to be added to your Venmo balance. Once you are okay, click on the “Add Money” button to initiate the fund transfer.
Here is a thing to note:
Once your process is up to this point, there is no way that you can undo it.
You might want to be sure of the amount that you are pulling out of your account.
If all you wanted to do was to send money to another Venmo user, then there is absolutely no need for adding money to your Venmo account balance before trying to send it out to the next Venmo user.
You can simply send money to other users from the funding source that has been linked to your account already.
Apart from sending money to other users, you can also fund other payments still from your linked funding source.
Now you know how to add money to Venmo.
